Happy Holidays from Jesse Tree

As we round out the year at Jesse Tree, we are proud to say we were able to prevent eviction for 1,108 families with over 1.7 million dollars in rental assistance, mostly thanks to people like you (and that's not including our numbers from this month!).

Demand for our services surged, with the number of emergency rental assistance applications and eviction court hearings doubling. Even so, our team is on the frontlines, resolving 25% of all evictions at every stage.

In 2024, we hope to keep even more families from experiencing homelessness. During Avenues for Hope this year, our goal is to raise $350,000 which will allow us to prevent 175 evictions.

At Housed for the Holidays, we raised over $300,000 towards our 2024 ERA fund. Thanks to the help of almost 300 guests at Housed for the Holidays, we will keep 150 families in their homes. We can not express enough gratitude to everyone who showed their support. We love this community, and we thank you for continuing to show up for our neighbors.
